This product comes at a fairly inexpensive price but I've seen better! What you get for under $30 is well worth it. As previous reviews mention, no additional straightening products are needed with this iron. It works very well, leaving hair silky and smooth. It is easy to make hair stick straight, but what I prefer is to hold a little longer at the ends to flip them outwards. Great if you have layers around your face. The reason I didn't give this a 10/10 is that sometimes it will grab a single hair where the hot plate meets the plastic frame. Ouch!
