Great pairings
The Shadow Duos are one of my favorite eyeshadows because they pair great color combos in a neat lilttle case. Flipped on the other side of the shadows comes with a convenient brush so you can take this on the go. The shadows are also very pigmented for its price. True to color
I just started using a mac eyelid primer b/c I have very oily skin which ends up making my eyeshadow melt off and crease. Using cover girl products i have all these shadows but they don't stay true to color when i use the primer. I really don't like the colors mac and siphora have plus they're really expensive. Its good for the money
I bought about 8 of these when they were on sale in Dec. of 2009. I have to say that they ok for the price. Some of the colors are out there. They would be good Halloween Makeup. Not Bad
I got these HIP shadow Duos on sale buy one get one half off.... L'Oreal HiP Bright Shadow Duo - Not great
Some time ago, I saw these were on sale buy one get one free. So I bought "Roaring" - a neutral creamed coffee/deep intense indigo blue - and "Showy" - a frosty sea foam teal/dark sparkly opaque blue. My biggest issue with this is I think I'm allergic to it, which hasn't happened with any other product. (Strangely, other people have complained of a stinging sensation and in one review I read, the ...read moreperson's eyes puffed up from an allergic reaction.) My eyelids itch from time to time and continue to do so even after I've taken it off. The colors are a hit-or-miss. The indigo blue and sea foam teal are vibrant, but you have to apply a fair few coats to eliminate uneven lines. The other two colors are not as vibrant and hence take even more coats. These do eventually crease, but are also a bit difficult to take off. For about $7, this isn't a horrible buy, and I do like the colors, but it's not my favorite product in the least bit. The only reason it got a 3 was for the two colors I liked, but I can't seem to like anything else about this product. If you're looking for quality pigments that won't bother your eyes or budge on your lids, MAC has fantastic choices.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Worth it
The price is a bit steep unless you know how to coupon shop. The colors don't bleed together and there are no creases after several hours of wear. I think the colors are true. I think you really need to know how to shop for yourself. hip eyeshadow duo
