  My sensitive eyes couldn't tolerate the brown topaz

  I have to admit that this mascara was very easy to apply and did enhance my eyes and lashes, but after an hour or so my eyes were so bloodshot that I looked like I'd been drinking. I have very sensitive eyes so this isn't an unusual reaction for me, but if you're sensitive as well then perhaps this should be a consideratio...   Good for sensitive eyes

  This is nice for those bothered by some mascaras due to sensitivity issues. The mascara colors are nice but I'm not sure they actually enhance eye color. I have blue eyes and black is always the most dramatic. May 18, 2008, 8:47 pm

  decent

  I got this mascara in the package with other products designed to bring out blue eyes. It doesn't seem to flake like some other mascara. But, I don't use it too much because it isn't waterproof. I'm not sure if the color really does anything though. May 15, 2008, 4:24 pm

  i-color mascara

  love this mascara, I have both emerald and color for hazel eyes. Both are terrific ! I can't leave the house without mascara! I always get compliments on my eye color when I use these mascara's. Easy to apply and lashes look grreat! January 6, 2008, 8:08 pm

  great drugstore mascara

  This mascara does make my eyelashes look longer & does it with no flakes or clumping. I dont know that it enhances the color of my eyes, but it is a great lengthener. I have gotten more compliments with this mascara than any other expensive designer brand. Great stuff!! November 13, 2007, 5:04 am

  My new favorite!

  Wow, I can't believe some of the reviews this has gotten, I think nothing but great things about this mascara! My favorite used to be Great Lash but after trying several others and then this one I couldn't believe the difference it made in the length of my lashes! If you put on several coats on top of one another then it is clumpy, but you only need ONE coat of this stuff and it stays on great, no crumbs by 5pm. I did not buy waterproof and it lasted through crying without streaking which surprised me. My eyes are greenish blue so I chose the one for green eyes...it's plum colored and it brightened my eyes nicely. I think my eyes looked so different mainly because of how it lengthened my lashes though. If you're of afraid of "plum", don't be...you don't notice the color. No one said "Hey, your lashes are plum!" I'll keep buying this one...if you do, remember, just one coat is all it takes. October 10, 2008, 12:51 pm

  good drugstore alternative

The first biggie is that it doesn't irritate my very dry, sensitive eyes. I also like the dark blue shade I use - a nice change from brown, but not the shock-shade of ...   no flakes!!!

  while the color didn't too much for me - the nice thing was it's staying power and it didn't flake all over. Maybe I'll try another shade and see if it works better - but overall I liked it. June 27, 2008, 7:33 am

  clumps galore

  very clumpy soon after using the tube a handful of times. Did little to extend or volumize my lashes, which are a bit long naturally. unless they do something about the applicator brush or straighten out the formula for no clumps - this mascara is a failure. June 17, 2008, 8:55 pm

  Makes my green eyes shine

  I have used many an expensive designer mascara and have been pretty disappointed. This mascara, for much less, really does a bang up job. My eyes are green and as a blonde, I have rather pale skin.
