How Does Lauren Conrad Do It?In the dog days of summer, celebrities still manage to look fresh as daisies. How do they do it? Seven stars reveal their summer beauty essentials |
Lauren Conrad Romantic braids and cat eyeliner are Lauren Conrad's signature summer looks, but her beauty advice goes beyond makeup -- as in, what you put in your face is as important as what you put on it. Conrad isn't shy about eating whatever she wants during bikini season, but portion control is key, she says.
"If I want a few sweet potato fries to go along with my grilled chicken salad at lunch, I will get them! But I make sure that I'm aware of how many I am eating. My biggest challenge isn't what I eat, but rather how much of it I eat."
Her beauty basics? Swapping liquid liner for waterproof mascara, and accessorizing with bright nail polish.
"The best accessory to your favorite bikini is a colorful pedicure. So dont shy away from blues, greens, oranges -- whatever your heart desires," says Conrad. "Lately, I'm loving Essie's summer collection. The coral color called Sunday Funday is the perfect peach."
