From the clothes to the accessories to the nails, gleaming metallic hues were all over the fall runways. At Behnaz Sarafpour, CND's Roxanne Valinoti used gold and silver polish (called Gold Chrome and Silver Chrome) to give the models a "high-tech, feminine" feel. "It looks so special, but it's easy to do," she says. Use two coats of a metallic polish and top it off with a shiny topcoat.

Don't care for the crystals. They might be fine for a couple hrs. but they would snag on everything. To make polka dots, I bought tools that you just dap into the polish. They were very cheap. You can also use the tip of a pencil point that is rounded. Don't use a freshly sharpened pencil. It works and is free.

If you want to see some really creative nail designs, try watching "cutepolish" videos on youtube or type "nail art" into google and you'll pull up cooler stuff than this if you put some effort into it.
