Glytone Mild Gel Wash , $28 TotalBeauty.com average member rating: 9.0* Why it's the best: "I couldn't believe how clear my skin was! This wash along with the night/day creams have transformed my face. I occasionally have a zit now and then and they are not nearly as bad as before. It doesn't dry out my skin and as a bonus it doesn't bleach my clothes, towels and bedding!" -- jcogan, TotalBeauty.com member Agree? Disagree? I love spreading this on my elbows, feet and legs, then rinsing and not needing any additional creams or lotions. And believe me, I have DRY skin! I even use it on my kids' feet and knees (ages 10 and 7 -- they're always on the floor crawling around). It works great. The smell is also awesome -- fresh and clean gingery/citrus -- the absolute best! I only wish it came in a bigger size. I use it so frequently, it doesn't last in my house!" -- nance1268 Agree? I never break out from it, I always look like I've just gotten a facial, and the cooling sensation is just incredible. If you have the money to spend, you should definitely buy as close to a lifetime supply as you can afford on these -- BeautyChick101 Agree? Disagree? This cream has been such an eye opener! When I wake up in the morning my skin is glowing and super hydrated. I'm so glad I've given this cream a chance. The bright plus line is changing my skin rapidly. My oil production has become more regulated. My skin is not too oily or super tight and dehydrated. It's perfect and supple. And above and beyond that, it is so bright and even-looking. I am in love with this line." -- lalivia Agree? Disagree? This is so creamy that I actually use it as a moisturizer. It makes my skin dewy, not greasy at all. (I have oily, sensitive skin.) It does not break me out and feels soothing. I have used the La Mer moisturizer and this feels just like that!" -- Espe1963 Agree? Disagree? I have combination skin that is prone to both dry patches and also blackheads/clogged pores. This is the only cleanser that I have found that does both a wonderful job of keeping my pores clean, but also does not strip my face and leave it [crepey] or scaly looking. It is by far the best that I have tried. I am totally satisfied with it!" -- Betty_P Agree? Disagree? I love that it has the most subtle, natural scent -- so many other brands over-scent their products, but not Shiseido. The texture is sinfully smooth so that it just glides onto your face. Best of all, it is easily absorbed into the skin, so you can use it even in the day! My skin feels perfectly balanced, smooth and youthful! -- SuzynM Agree? Disagree? I bought the Tom's lavender-scented bar and LOVE it. Not too strong, doesn't dry my skin, suds up very nicely. -- mvap47 Agree? Disagree? I have combination skin and I have never had a problem with it causing breakouts. I recommend it to anyone who needs a light moisturizer and has sensitive skin! I am growing old gracefully ... as the good old saying goes!" -- jnmmom Agree? Disagree? This cleanser has neve r failed me. It always leaves my skin feeling totally clean, fresh and not dry or stripped in any way. I try different cleansers, well, because I am a beauty blogger, but always go back to Purity. The scent is very light, and I truly look forward to using this at the end of the day to help my skin feel totally refreshed and totally clean." -- Makeupsearcher Agree? Disagree? It looks like petroleum jelly, but I think it's just a little thicker. Petroleum jelly is OK, but to me, it always seems to just sit on the surface of the skin. Aquaphor does more than that. It sinks in and hydrates wherever you apply it. I use it on heels, cuticles, lips and elbows. But I also like to use it on my kids when they get dry patches that look like mild eczema. Often I'll line my lips with a pencil and then use Aquaphor on top as a lip balm. The jar packaging is fine but I like the more controlled application of the tube. I am never without it when I travel." -- MelanieW Agree? Disagree? This product comes in handy [and isn't] sticky and cold and awful. This smoothes on like a dream. ... It is a bonus that it restores your skin with vitamins. I use it almost every day in the summer now." -- Lizzie Agree? Disagree? Yikes... a lot of these were VERY expensive! Yeah, there were some reasonably priced products, but there were also some really outrageously priced products. Aquaphor is a fantastic product, and very inexpensive.
