Someone Started a Petition to Brush Blue Ivy's Hair

Plus Spanx does denim, the mole-cancer connection and more of the top stories of the day

• Some totally insane person started a Change.org petition to get Jay Z and Beyonce to comb Blue Ivy's hair because "it's disturbing to watch a child suffering from the lack of hair moisture." WHAT? The petition has (sadly) more than a thousand signatures. [Change.org]

Glee star Heather Morris has some kind of miracle baby that sleeps like a log. "He gets about 10 hours of sleep a night," she said. "I go to bed about an hour afterwards. So I get eight or nine hours." Hear that? That's the sound of every other new mother sighing wistfully. [Us Weekly]

• A 25-year-old complains about being told she looks young and we try not to cry for her inside, really. But for real, Gabrielle Korn's essay on why we value youth and looking young is an worthwhile read. [Refinery29]

• Scientists believe the number of moles a woman has may be tied to her risk of developing breast cancer, and that there's a small genetic link between the two. Though stress researchers, "this shouldn't be a concern for women with moles, because we don't think the relationship is causal." Phew. [Reuters]

• Spanx is launching denim. That's right! DENIM SPANX. Think about it for a minute. They'll launch with two styles: the Signature, a high-waisted jean with a wide waistband, and the Slim X, a five-pocket jean with a stomach control panel. [Stylecaster]
