Sick To Death Of Shaving? This Revolutionary Spray Could Change Your Life

New product drastically reduces hair growth rate

Here's a fun fact for your Monday morning. Over the course of her lifetime, an average female will spend 72 days (!) shaving her legs. Factor in the underarms and bikini area and you're probably devoting nearly 100 to this most mundane and loathsome task.

Sure, you can try IPL -- if you're down with dolling out big bucks for iffy results. Or, if pain is your pleasure, you can opt to wax away your fur, but wouldn't it be downright dreamy to not have to deal with the bothersome hair at all?

That's what the folks at Boots, Britain's beauty Mecca, are betting on. They've stocked a new product call Inhibitif Advanced Hair Free Serum which is "a breakthrough hair inhibitor that minimizes the need for hair removal in under 8 weeks."

And, judging by the reader reviews on their website -- and the fact that it's temporarily out of stock -- we're thinking that plunking down a mere £ 29.99 (or $46) for a bottle of this liquid gold is a solid investment.

"I was dubious at first but it really works! This is going to be my best friend this summer," reads one rave. " I'm happy I got to try this product. It simply works and I can't believe it's not everywhere. I'm shaving far less often and it grows less thick. Large bottle and very good value," says another. And, they go on and on.

As if the reviews weren't a strong enough selling point, another big bonus is that Inhibitif isn't chock full of nasty, harmful chemicals -- just the contrary. In fact, according to Brandon Trueaxe, Inhibitif's founder, the label may read like a scary periodic table but it's not. "People may be scared of these long names, but all these ingredients are actually widely used, safe chemicals," he says. Dihydromycerin (which retards the follicles growth phase) "is a derivative of the African bayberry tree," and " our skin-protecting ingredient is derived from an Arctic algae that has been used in extremely expensive anti-ageing creams to soothe and repair irritated skin." Talk about a win/win.

To use Inhibitif, you simply apply it to the desired area twice daily. (The company recommends beginning the process on freshly waxed skin so that it's that much easier for the product to access the follicles.) And, if you're like most of the reviewers, you'll be thrilled with the results in about two months.

Itching to get your mitts on your own bottle? Add your name to Boots' email alert list and they'll let you know when it's back in stock. And, once you've taken it for the 8 week spin, be sure to log your results at TotalBeauty.com's review section -- we know everyone on this side of the pond would love to know your thoughts.
