We love makeup and jewelry, sure. But we absolutely draw the line at sticking jewelry
in our eyes. Yet! Apparently that's exactly what some women are doing to accentuate their eyeballs.
It's called Safesight Jewelry, and it's done at Park Avenue Laser Vision in Manhattan by Dr. Emil Chynn who measuredly says it's "pretty safe." Dr. Chynn makes a small incision in the white part of the eye and places a gold charm into the eye. And, explains Dr. Chynn, "it just sits there."
Well then!
Lucy Luckayanko ponied up for the trend, and got a tiny gold heart implanted into her right eye. "50 percent of my friends are like what is it? Why do you need it oh my god are you crazy?" she said. "You're going to put something in your eye! But 50 percent of my friends are like oh my god it's super cool."
If a bit of eye bling sounds just great to you, you'll need to start saving your pennies: The charm surgery costs $3,000 a pop. [
