We're giving a thumbs-up to today's announcement that sweet "Pretty Little Liars" star Lucy Hale was named the new beauty ambassador for mark cosmetics, Avon's beauty and fashion boutique brand. mark and Hale announced her new role in true 2013 fashion -- on Instagram (@mark_girl and @lucyhale89) -- earlier today.

The bubbly 23-year-old actress will appear in mark magalogs and on meetmark.com starting in August. She'll also be the spokesperson for the m.powerment by mark campaign, the brand's philanthropic efforts to educate young women about domestic violence and dating abuse.
