China Machado started modeling at age 24, and 59 years later she's still appearing in magazine spreads and ad campaigns. The 83-year-old recently appeared in a spread in W magazine and is now one of the faces of Cole Haan's new ad campaign, "Born in 1928" (alongside Maya Angelou, Apollo 13 commander Captain Jim Lovell and photographer Elliott Erwitt).

In a recent interview with New York Mag, Machado was asked to share some of her coveted beauty secrets. The feisty model basically replied that anti-aging products are a sham. "People have been asking me this all my life, and I don't want to sound like I'm lying, but I really don't do anything," she said. "I've been in this business for so long, and I saw all the beauty products and all the bullshit they talk about -- like, 'This will go into your skin and dust and dirt will come out' -- I mean, how is that possible? I take off my makeup with Pond's Cold Cream and then I wash myself with gentle soap and water and that's it." And okay, she also dyes her hair from a box at home. (Love!)

And if you're thinking you could pick up some health and diet tips from the slim model, think again. In an interview last spring, Machado claims to have never dieted or exercised. "I eat like a pig, and I drink -- mainly vodka ... I still smoke, too," she said. So ... you can live like a frat boy, smear a thick, greasy skin cream on your face ... and look like this? Love her for the no-nonsense honesty, envy her for hitting the genetic jackpot. Excuse me while I go grab a few jar of Pond's.
