The Best Shampoo For Healthy Hair

Find the best shampoo for healthy hair with this helpful guide

Often, people think that they can skimp on shampoo and conditioner and then spend more money on expensive serums, sprays and oils in order to improve the conditioner of their hair. What many people do not know is that they also need to use a good quality shampoo for healthy hair, as that is the foundation for building the other products in a hair care regimen. Liquid Keratin Infusing Healthy Hair De-Frizz Shampoo is an excellent shampoo for healthy hair because it moisturizes and protects hair from sun damage, drenching strands with keratin proteins for improved strength, shine and manageability. For more brands, read 24 Reader Picks For Best Hair Shampoo for a list of shampoos for all hair types.

Another great shampoo for healthy hair is Wen Cleansing Conditioner, a five-in-one formula that takes the place of traditional shampoo and combines the benefits of shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, detangler and leave-in conditioner all onto one powerful product. This product works by cleansing hair minus the harsh ingredients that strip your scalp of essential oils, leaving you with hair that is rich, manageable and healthier. Wen is ok

I think Wen is one of the worst.

I've used the Wen haircare and HATED it. It is for rich women who have nowhere to be. Trying to get just the right number of squirts, make sure it saturates the hair, leave it on for the ten minutes (who is in the shower at 6:00 in the morning for ten minutes? I've got to get to work), then rinse it for five minutes. Ugh, it was a disaster and my hair ended up looking good twice in the month I used the product. It's jut too precise. The rest of the time it looked flat and greasy, and I have amazingly thick full hair. Oh, and a couple of weeks after I stopped using it, I had to call the plumber who pulled a massive greasy wad out of the pipe and said, "whatever body butter you've been using needs to go." Yup, it was the Wen.
