An Innovative Treatment For Severe Acne Scars

Dermaflage is a revolutionary makeup designed to conceal severe acne scars and other skin irregularities

We need to face the truth: acne scars are real, and unlike pimples, they stick around as reminders of the unpleasant breakouts we previously were forced to endure. We are fortunate enough to live in a time where there are numerous ways to treat severe acne scars, from advanced laser treatments to chemical peels to scar revision surgery, but not everybody can afford to spend thousands of dollars on these treatments, especially when they are not guaranteed to clear up scars completely. And what if you have just one annoying scar, such as that big pockmark right in the center of your forehead? The long awaited solution is finally here, and it is Dermaflage, an innovative and affordable invention created by Matt Singer, a former Hollywood special effects makeup artist. It takes just minutes to apply and can cover everything from old surgical scars to the most severe acne scars. Dermaflage works by concealing scars with medical grade, FDA approved silicone ingredients and can last up to thirty six hours. It is waterproof, translucent and moves with your facial muscles and is available in a wide array of tones in order to perfectly match your skin. Unlike regular makeup that often draws more attention to scars or does not completely cover them up, Dermaflage actually fills in scars, bringing them to the same level as the rest of your skin, making them appear smooth (no one will ever even know you have a scar!) The key to not having acne scars of course is to avoid getting acne in the first place. Dermaflage is easy to apply to those severe acne scars: first, brush a layer of the primer over the scar and allow to dry for thirty seconds, then apply a small amount of the clear silicone filler onto the mixing palette and use the mixing spatula to combine the two parts evenly, then apply to the affected area. Blend from the center out and place the skin texture pad with the textured side against the area, lightly pressing around edges. Hold in place for two minutes, then lift the pad and you are all done! Makeup should be applied prior to applying Dermaflage, although you can lightly dust dry powder over the surface after you apply the scar concealer treatment. Dermaflage can be purchased via the official website and they offer a starter kit that comes with several different skin tone options so that you can find the color that is right for your skin.
