The Most Popular Mineral Eyeshadow

Try these mineral eyeshadow suggestions for your next big night out

Mineral makeup is currently all the rage: not only is it supposed to give women a more natural, soft look but it is also supposed to be better on skin. Mineral eyeshadow is also increasing in popularity as many women are adding it to their cosmetic routine. Mary Kay Mineral Eyeshadow comes in a range of fun colors that are shimmery, long-lasting and fade-resistant. The oil-absorbing mineral-based formula provides excellent coverage and provides you with a crease-resistant color. Laura Mercier is another cosmetics brand that carries a high quality mineral eyeshadow. Their Mineral Eye Powder is a multi-dimensional formula that provides eyes with a sheer wash of color that lasts all day long and is water-resistant. Some women are hesitant to try mineral eyeshadow because they think that mineral makeup is of lower-quality, but this is simply not true. Mineral makeup has the advantage of being made from natural-derived ingredients and is an excellent option for those with sensitive skin or eyes. Many people prefer mineral eyeshadow because they are able to avoid skin allergies which some people experience when using regular eye makeup that contains mica or bismuth oxychloride, two common cosmetic ingredients. Minerals on the face seem to look artificial. Mineral eye makeup is very pretty, but I hate toting a lot of different little pots around.

minerals are not absorbent. that is the difference between them and powder or talc based products. Minerals are small flecks of metal(lic) and calciferous substances, they do not absorb moisture no matter what any cosmetic company says. The only ones that can have talc mixed in.
