Foods like Salmon and Flax Seed are full of fatty acids, which are important for healthy skin as well. The essential fatty acids make up healthy cell membranes, which serve as blockades to keep harmful things out of the body, while allowing nutrients to enter. The stronger your cell membranes are, the more plump and youthful your skin will appear. As an added bonus, these fatty acids also offer protection against heart disease.
