Dermatologist Skin Care Secrets

These dermatologist skin care secrets will save you time and money

Going to the best dermatologists can be quite costly, so we though we would share some of the best dermatologist skin care secrets with you right here, which will not only save you a trip to the doctor office but will also help you get that perfect skin that you have been wishing for. Many times we blame sweat as the cause of our breakouts, but according to dermatologist Dr. Neal Schultz, sweat is not the cause of breakouts. In fact, he says that dirt, oil and debris that we carry around in our skin all day are what cause breakouts. In order to effectively combat this, he recommends washing your face prior to working out as well as after in order to keep skin fresh and clean. Another dermatologist skin care secret is to use a cold soy milk compress against skin in order to decrease inflammation and redness, especially after sun exposure or using an irritating skin product. Sunscreen application is another popular dermatologist skin care tip, but did you know that you should apply approximately enough sunscreen to fill an entire shot glass? In addition, you should reapply sunscreen to your entire body every two hours and include the back of your neck and the tops of your ears as well when applying. Dermatologist Dr. David Colbert also recommends taking a glucosamine supplement, which not only provides joint support but also increase hyaluronic acid production in skin. Hyaluronic acid serves as a natural form of restylane, helping to prevent wrinkles. What a wake up call on the sunscreen! I have not spent much time in the sun this year so I haven't worried about it. But really? - Every two hours and apply enough to fill an entire shot glass full? If we're talking the mini shot glasses then I can see it. But otherwise it sounds like too much. I should go into the sunscreen business! I didn't find this article very helpful. This information is in most beauty magazines, etc. I was hoping for some really useful tips from a professional. Sorry, but this was not interesting or helpful.
