The Best Conditioner For Frizzy Hair

Having trouble with frizzy flyaways? Try using one of these conditioners for silkier, smoother hair

If you find that your regular hair products are not working to keep the flyaways at bay, it may time for you to switch over a conditioner for frizzy hair. Brands like John Frieda have created and Joico have created hair conditioners specifically for smoothing your strands so that you can look frizz free no matter what time of the day it is. Read the 12 Best And Worst Summer Hair Care Products so that you know which products to avoid and which ones will help your hair.

The main goal when treating your hair is to restore lost moisture, as this lack of moisture in your hair is what causes the frizziness in the first place. A good conditioner for frizzy hair will work to not only hydrate your hair but it will also provide nutrition for your locks, resulting in stronger, healthier hair. Other things to look out for when choosing a conditioner for frizzy hair include avoiding products that contain large amounts of flavoring and coloring ingredients, as these often worsen the condition of your hair, leading to a more processed and dried out look. Conditioners that treat colored or permed hair offer great conditioning benefits due to the fact that they are formulated to treat extra damage, which occurs as a result of the dying process. You should try the Shielo Hydrate line with the Shielo Leave in protector. I have long chemically straightened hair and these are the BEST products I have ever found to keep my hair from frizzing. I have been using it for about a year now and have had so many compliments on how soft and shiny my hair is and I never have a friz issue. Use the Shielo Hydrate Shampoo & Conditioner. When done, then spray the Antioxidant Leave in Protector - this is what protects you from frizz.

i agree about restoring moisture...My hair seems so dry when it is frizzy. I like J. Frieda. I am also having good things happen in my striaght frizzy hair by using The Mixed Chicks deep and leave in along with Mixed Chicks hair silk (found at Target). The deep gives moisture. The leave in defines. And the hair silk flattens all the extra fly aways, especially before and after I blow it out.

These are some really usful tips! I have to add one of my own: argan oil. This stuff seriously smooths hair and gets rid of frizz. It also does a lot of extra things like hydrate and strengthen hair. I use Pro Naturals Moroccan Hair Oil Treatment, it has argan oil and a heat protector in it. It's never failed me!
