My extremely sensitive skin doesn't really get along with heavy creams, and it has been known to rebel against serums, yet to my surprise it has become BFF with most face oils.
Because I know this up-and-coming product category happens to be my skin care sweet spot, I jump on any new samples that come across my desk. The most recent being Mun No. 1 Aknari Oil, $95. This organic blend of pure oils contains argan oil, rose oil, and prickly pear seed oil -- and the prickly pear is what really makes this mix special. It's an extremely rare, natural antioxidant (which comes from a small cactus fruit), and it's rich in Vitamin E and essential fatty acids. Not only was my skin protected and nourished for over eight hours (I applied it before bed), it still felt insanely soft and actually looked dewy in the morning.
Oh, and did I mention that it smells divine? Scent isn't a requirement for a good face oil in my opinion, but it's definitely a bonus.
