"New BB Creams ... For Hair "

First, BB creams took the skincare world by storm, and then CC creams exploded in popularity. While we're all anxiously awaiting the arrival of the next new kid in town, there's more BB news to address. The latest crop of BB's are in a beauty category that can always use a quality multitasker: hair care.

This month, Pantene will launch the first drugstore BB Crème for hair. Similar to the skincare product of the same initials, Pantene's BB Crème is a one step multitakser -- but instead of adding coverage and evening out skin tone, Pantene's version boasts 10 benefits, including adding shine, moisture and softness, while controlling frizz, providing heat protection and repairing rough hair.

On the heels of Pantene is KeratinPerfect, which will be launching a 3-in-1 Hair BB Cream that strengthens, protects against humidity, and creates soft, shiny hair. The serum, cream and oil hybrid will be available for purchase next month.

Fun/interesting idea. I'm curious about how well it will work relative to other "non-multitasking" products already out there like serums, anti-frizz mousse, etc.

Hmmm ... Not sure. Looks like it might be fun though! And I agree that calling it a BB cream does seem odd.
