Beyonce Goes Blonde, Channels Marilyn Monroe

Maybe the Pepsi Pop Art ad that debuted last month was a dead giveaway: Beyonce has dyed her hair platinum blonde. She's showing off her flaxen hair color in a new ad that features her in denim hot pants, a white knit top, and black booties. It was posted yesterday on her Facebook page, and it's titled "The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour." From the coy facial expression to the popped knee, it reminds me of another iconic celeb: Marilyn Monroe.

It's tough to say whether or not the look will stick, but I think the bold red lip, dark brows, and impeccable hourglass figure -- plus the platinum hair color -- work well for the legend otherwise known as Sasha Fierce. Transitioning from golden to platinum isn’t all that surprising -- but it's edgier and sexier. Beyonce wrapped the richest rapper in the world around her finger, shot an entire video in ballet stilettos, and blew out the electricity at the Super Bowl. Seriously, is there anything she can't pull off?
