YSL Parisienne Spray

older women smell
i was not particually impressed with this perfume and did not find the scent very attractive. i think it's more of a smell for older to middle-aged women. my boyfriend said it was a mom or grandma smell. also, i did not find that the scent lasted very long throughout the day. it scent sort of faded off into the after. it's an ok smell though, if you are older and like floral, woody smells. personally, i will never wear it again.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Great scent!
I love this scent for going out at night! It's such a beautiful bottle, and the name is too cute! It's a little strong for my taste, but it lasts through the night on my neck. I got this in the mail and I have to say I really wanted to like this. Bleh! I was doubtful just from sniffing the bottle, but wanted to give it a fair shake. So a spritz on each wrist that I then waved through the air to dry....nauseating! I hoped that it would warm to some warm notes but it did not. It was too blackberry and sickly sweet! if you wanna smell like a blackberry...go for it! I alm...read moreost couldn't take it all day. When I got home I washed to my elbows with soap and it still was there, so good staying power I guess. very feminine
I am usually not crazy about rose scents, but found this one to be soft and mellow. I like the berry undertones, they balance the fragrance out. The scent lingered for most the day, but I did not receive a single compliment on it. Interesting....
First I'd have to say that this perfume isn't really for someone my age (i'm 22), but if i was older, I'd probably wear it. I put it on and kinda forgot about it, but throughout the day I kept smelling it, it smells good after the scent settles in. Mystery - Maybe its my age
From the first spritz I knew I was in trouble. Too much of the product so I had to wipe most of it away. Still it smelled pretty nice for the first several hours and then I noticed a somewhat medicinal, detergent-type smell which may have been the Blackberry, Damask Rose or Sandalwood, but I don't think so. Beautiful!
This perfume is just wonderful! It's a light and sweet scent. It's not overpowering and lasts a good part of the day. It's a pretty bottle and I love the name since I'm particularly fond of anything French! I would recommend this perfume to anyone. Lovely, complex feminine scent
When I first read the notes for this scent, I wasn't enthusiastic. Vinyl accord??!! I'm glad I was able to sample it for this review, because after wearing it for two days, I love it! (so much so that I've already ordered a bottle from YSL's site.) I like roses and woody florals in general, but sometimes they're overpowering or cloying. This scent is neither - it's well-balanced, never aggress...read moreive, fresh but still complex - definitely not like the single note scents found in many stores. It seems to change on my skin - the roses are present throughout, but at times I smell the berries, then the woods come out, then the berries come back.... The dry down is perfect - the rosy side of the sandalwood is emphasized, and I'm left with a cozy feeling, feminine scent. This is a well-thought out perfume with quality ingredients which may not please those used to simpler scents or the loud fruity florals so commen today. The sillage is modest- Parisienne is a good office scent. It's the signature pefume of a grown-up woman who prefers a scent that neither shouts nor struts, but one that quietly turns people's heads and makes them smile.
