Better after it's on awhile--
Parisiennes--brings images of Paris and romance and fashion! Have tried this a few times and wasn't crazy about it when I first put it on but as it's on awhile, it 'smoothes' out and I liked it better. I'm not crazy about florals and that is the base for this. This scent is feminine and floral with a mysterious hint of a woodsy scent. It was so appropriate that I tried it on my recent trip to the White Mountains in Arizona. It truly fit my mood and surroundings. Although I am partial to fruity and sweets scents, I enjoyed trying something new and more feminine. If you are a fan of Sandalwood, Blackberry, and Damask Rose I say "Give it a Try"! Pretty nice!
Most perfumes make me feel sick and happily this one didn't. I used it lightly on my clothes (I rarely put it on my skin because of the 'sick' thing) and it lasted until I washed those clothes. The smell is a nice mix of musk and flowers. I got a sample so I can't comment on packaging, but I know about the price and think it would be worth the purchase. Faded Rose
It's not a bad scent, but I wished it stayed more rose scented. Seems like the rose scent disappears after a minute. What's left is a sweet/sandalwood scent with a sort of baby powder scent. Not very long-lasting
I found this perfume, like many other reviewers, to be floral and woodsy. I thought I would not like those two characteristics together, yet I actually really enjoyed this perfume. On the negative side, I would definitely recommend that anyone thinking of buying this perfume test it out for a day first, to check its staying power. Sophisticated, not old...
While some rose scented perfumes remind me of older ladies, this one does not. Parisienne does not scream roses either... they are the primary scent in the perfurme, yet there is more to this with layers of sandalwood. The discription states that there are berries in this purfume, but I don't smell that on my skin. Berry Good...Although a little potent!
I really like the clean berry smell with the slightest hints of wood. It smells really good, but it is a little too strong for my taste! I would wear this when I am going to be out at night or around a lot of people and want to leave a great scent behind. It is too strong for a day scent but like I said before the berryliscious smell constantly make you keep smelling your wrist all day long!!! Old Lady Perfume
YSL's new perfume, Parisienne seems to be a fragrance created for an old woman. The minute I smelled it, I thought: old lady perfume. I do love the Kate Moss ad campaign, but I seriously can't imagine Kate wearing this scent. Maybe Kate's grandma, but not Kate. Feel Like a Holiday!
I received my sample of Beauty Parisienne Eau de Parfume the other day and waited for the perfect time to test it. I went to a dinner party and wanted to feel especially lovely.
