Very Pretty
Well, I have to agree with the younger members here that this scent is probably not for them. However, since I am 'old', I like it! I'm very bad at describing scents but the first thing that came to mind when I spritzed this on was the color purple. If purple had a scent, this would be it. It is very sweet but not over-powering, which is good a lot of perfumes give me a headache. Not terribly long-lasting, but it dries to a subtle, powdery scent. "Feminine & Romantic"
I really like YSL Parisienne! I love how the Damask rose mixes with berries. I think the rose gives this fragrance a classic appeal, while the berries give it a touch of youth. It's definetely a fragrance for someone who loves classics! This fragrance lasts a long time, and it will slowly fade into a light scent. Ok, but too sweet for me.
I tried the sample of this parfum, and it is not for me. If you like a sweet scent, it may be right for you. I prefer a fresher, cleaner scent. I would not purchase it myself, but others may like it. Smells good.
I received a sample of Yves Parisienne in the mail. I was pretty excited to try it because I have never tried this brand before, which sounded classic and "frenchy." I really like it. Though I do think that it would be for someone much older than I, I really like the flower-woodsy smell. I was hesitant about trying it for fear that it would be too overwhelming, but it is a soft perfume....read more It stayed on for a long time too, so that was also a plus. Not my signature fragrance
I work in healthcare, and cannot wear a fragrance that is too overwhelming. This fragrance is light, but still not something I would get for myself. The first scent I noticed with the first spritz was roses...and I do like roses, but only in a live floral bouquet, not in a lotion, cosmetic or fragrance. Too strong; reminds me of gramma
As a twenty one year old, I can't see myself wearing this perfume. It has too strong a scent that gives me a headache even after an hour- and I didn't over-applicate. This perfume reminds me of the way my decrepit substitute teacher wore in high school. Overall a better fragrance for an older age group. Its mixture of flowery and musky hues is not my type. Not bad, just not for me
When I first sprayed it on, it smelled like the inside of a Hallmark store...like potpourri or something. After awhile, the rose scent came through which is what made me decide the scent wasn't for me. I RECEIVED A SAMPLE OF THIS PERFUME IN THE MAIL A FEW DAYS AGO TO TRY. I LIKE HOW THEY SENT THE SAMPLE BC IT DID NOT COME IN YOUR AVERAGE EVERYDAY PERFUME SAMPLE TUBE, IT CAME IN MORE OF A SPRAY AND I LIKE THAT. AFTER APPLIED I SMELT A LIGHT FLORAL SCENT, IT MADE ME THINK OF OTHER PERFUMES THAT I'VE SMELLED THAT BELONGED TO MY GRANDMOTHER. I absolutely love this fragrance!
