Not for the twenty-something girl
I got the opportunity to try the new YSL fragrance Parisienne, and here’s what I thought: First, it comes in a really cute bottle. It looks kind of like a gemstone, so I felt pretty glam putting it on. Also, Kate Moss is in the ad, and I love me some Kate Moss. While the packaging was definitely up my alley…the scent was not. This is definitely not a perfume for someone in their ...read more20s. It’s got a fairly mature appeal to it, and I personally would rather not smell like my mom. It’s also not really an everyday scent. It’s much too overpowering to wear to work, and if I were to wear it, it would be out at night. Now again this is just me, I’m more of a fruity/flowery perfume kind of girl. Nice

Nice and Light But . . .
I liked the fact that the scent was light, but I love sandalwood and didn't feel there was much of it in there. Also, there is a kind of "powdery" scent that reminded me of an older woman's perfume. Nice Fragrance, except for the subtl Sandlewood scent

Nice balance of fruit notes and wooden basenotes
I loved this fragrance. It somehow combines many of my favorite notes (blackberry, peony and violet) with great basenotes (sandalwood and musk) to create a nice floral but not overly sweet fragrance. I actually really like this
Yves Saint Laurent's new Eau De Parfum, Parisienne is FANTASTIC! I give it 10 out of 10 stars. I really like this scent which is odd because I don't typically like floral scents but this one is floral with fruity undertones: Blackberry - Damask Rose and Sandalwood It's light and authoritative. I don't think it's for everyone but I liked the light scent. I don't like scents that overpower you....read more Parisienne keeps on keeping on throughout the majority of the day. It retails for $39 for a 1 oz bottle, $65 for a 1 and a half ounce bottle and $85 for a 3 oz bottle. That's not too hard on the wallet for this delectable fragrance. Also, the design of the bottle is very elegant. The one thing I didn't care for is the whole "sex sells" message that's used to promote the fragrance. Sweet then Woodsy
At first this scent is very sweet - too sweet for my liking, but after about 20 minutes the woodsiness of the fragrance comes through and I then like it much better. Different
