Helen Mirren's Beauty Tips: Wear Stripper Heels and Suck It in

Actress Helen Mirren, in the upcoming film "Red," is knocking out bad guys left and right with a purse and a machine gun among other weapons of choice, but the real knock out is her body. (Cheesy I know, but I had to do it.) It's no secret that the 65-year-old actress has aged beautifully. Her beauty secret? Suck it in.

In an interview with the "Daily Mail," the Oscar winner, says "holding your tummy in is another trick for making you look and feel good," adding, "I don't know why, but I do, by nature, hold my tummy in."

The "Calendar Girls" star has stripped down for many roles over the years, and was shot in a bikini looking amazing at 63. But even this confident actress says she too has body issues, "Bits of my body are all right, but bits of me are horrible. To be honest, anything from the waist down I don’t really like."

Her secret weapon to lengthening her legs: Wear "stripper heels."

"Four-inch platforms give you great height and make your legs look unbelievably long. I used only to be able to get them in stripper shops, but now you can buy them everywhere -- although, unfortunately, that means everyone else has discovered the trick too."

So wear stripper heels and suck it in. While I don't think these two beauty tips alone would procure Mirren's amazing body, I will heed her advice.

Mirren just finished filming "Red," which will be in theaters October 15th and she is currently filming "Arthur" and "The Door." After winning an Oscar from her role in "The Queen," Mirren's 40-year-plus acting career is only burgeoning with no baby to hinder her. (She says she has no maternal instinct whatsoever.)

In twenty years she may be the next Betty White.
