Keira Knightley Gets a Bob Haircut

Keira Knightley debuted a new haircut on Tuesday at Paris' Chanel Spring/Summer 2011 show. The 25-year-old British actress showed off a gorgeous new bob while at the Grand Palais for Paris' Fashion Week.

The "Love Actually" star said she loved how "beautiful" the Chanel show was while sitting in the front row alongside Lily Allen, "Gossip Girl's" Clemence Poesy, and Johnny Depp's longtime girlfriend, French singer/model, Vanessa Paradis.

Knightley had an even shorter do last year when she sported a volumized pixie. This time around, the actress says it wasn't for a movie role. She says, "I did it for myself."

She tells InStyle.co.uk, "I had my hair bobbed about a month ago, then I had it freshly trimmed again this morning."

Knightley's new movie, "Never Let Me Go," which came out last Friday (and co-stars fellow short-haired beauty, Carey Mulligan), didn't get rave reviews but her bob is simply gorgeous and may start some new fall hair trends. Check out some new ways to style short hair.

The premise of the film is about two people raised in a convent whose lives are focused on being healthy so that their organs can be donated once they reach a mature age. The characters, however, fall in love and beg for their lives so that they can continue to live together. Critics say the movie doesn't do the book it's based on justice, but you can go judge for yourself.
