Taylor Swift Looks Great at Grammys, Sounds Sub-Par

Taylor Swift is adored by fans for her catchy love songs and girl-next-door looks, but the flaxen-haired songstress has been taking a good amount of flak for her less-than-pitch-perfect performance at this year's Grammy Awards.

Taylor Swift won four Grammy Awards but was criticized for her vocal performance.

Taylor Swift won four Grammy Awards but was criticized for her vocal performance.

Swift performed a duet with Stevie Nicks. The pair started off with "Rhiannon" and then launched into "You Belong With Me."

Though we think that Swift looked as pretty as a picture with her trademark wavy hairstyle and Nicks-esque flowy top, we have to admit that the song bird was a little off key.

Swift's label exec, Scott Borchetta, has come to her defense, claiming that a technical problem occurred before the performance, and this made it difficult for Swift to hear the entire mix of the songs.

In a statement, Borchetta said that Swift's emotions are what appeal her audience, not her technically perfect performances. "The facts say she is the undisputed best communicator that we’ve got," he said. "When she says something, when she sings something, when she feels something, it affects more people than anybody else."

Whether or not Swift's singing was sub-par, we love the girl's fresh-faced style and her catchy anthems, so we say, 'Rock on Miss Swift.'
