No Rose Ceremony On "The Bachelor": Girls Spent All That Time and Makeup for Nothing

Posted on February 9, 2010, 10:45 AM

Last night, "The Bachelor" fans were shocked (well, as shocked as you can be while watching "The Bachelor"), because for the first time in the history of the series, there was an episode without a rose ceremony.

Last night's

Last night's "The Bachelor" had no rose ceremony.

When Ali, an advertising executive who lives in San Francisco, was forced to choose between her job and Pavelka, she cried and acted like a three-year-old for a few moments before choosing her career.

After she left, Pavelka did an okay job of pretending to be devastated. He even leaned on a banister for a few moments while trying to tear up.

However, we feel like the real victims here were the other girls. The three remaining contestants, Gia, Tenley and Vienna, obviously spent hours on their hairstyles and makeup so that they'd look fabulous for the rose ceremony -- and you know that they splurged on their shoes and dresses.

These ladies must have been furious that they put in plenty of time and effort just to hear, 'never mind, you're all still in by default.'

Too bad girls! But if it makes you feel better you all looked great.(Though we're still on the fence about Gia's dark red lipstick.)
