Robin Wright has heads turning with new hairstyle

Robin Wright, pictured here, took a page out of the books of many women going through a breakup and decided to make a drastic change.

The actress showed up to a recent movie premiere to show off her new hairstyle, she opted to dye her once blonde hair to a deep brown.

Wright recently filed for divorce from actor Sean Penn, and claimed that her hair was just one way she could start over.

"This is all about new beginnings for me," Wright told the New York Post.

In Wright's case however, the public didn't seem too keen on her new look, with 97 percent of People.com voters saying they liked her better as a blonde.

While going dark may not be for everyone, it's always nice to try something new. Some girls choose to go darker during the wintery months, leaving highlights for the summer.

Going darker is easy to accomplish, and can be done in your own home with the help of a do-it-yourself dye kit that most places with hair products carry.
