Using Doxycycline For Rosacea Treatment
Learn about the benefits associated with using doxycycline for rosacea treatment
When taking doxycycline for rosacea, the suggested dosage is 50 to 100 mg orally, one to two times a day. You will need to discuss this with your dermatologist in order to determine the dosage amount that is right for you, but they may start you on a lower dosage to see how your skin responds to it before moving you up to a higher daily dosage. In order for your treatment to be most effective, it is recommended that you also apply a topical treatment such as metronidazole gel in order to further reduce the severity of your skin condition.
