    Very good but...

I was skeptical about this mascara when i first saw the wand since i had a bad clumped up experience with the Givenchy's mascara which has a wand that looks exactly like that but i have been pleasantly surprised by this mascara. First of all it is nothing like the other one and secondly this is far better for the application than the other, that said it did have a clumping experience which can be ...read moreresolved by just wiping it gently on a tissue. if you can resolve that you have an awesome mascara on your hands, it separates every lash, lengthens them to a Va Va voom experience and it reaches every single lash possible, even lashes i din't know existed! Also your lashes are very touchable after applying it not hard and i wear contacts and i did not experience any sort of problem with dry eyes which i sometimes do with other mascaras. Overall i think it is a very good mascara for the price and quality if you can figure out the application process.

    L'Oreal Paris Telescopic Explosion Mascara

I honestly didn't love the mascara. I felt it was clumpy and was twice the work since the wand is so small.

    L'OREAL PARIS TELESCOPIC EXPLOSION MASCARA

BRITNEY'S WHAT'S HOT AND NEW BEAUTY REVIEW THE OUTER FRINGE L'Oreal Paris has done it again. My first mascara crush was L'Oreal Voluminous now I have fallen head over heels in love with their newest mascara masterpiece, L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion. This mascara has taken my short, stubby, dinky little lashes to all new, unheard of lengths. I have unbelievable length, definition and I have found ...read morenew lashes that I never even knew I had. It is all most like false lashes in a tube. (Can you tell that I am a little excited about this product?). The true genius behind this mascara is the brush. SMALLER IS BETTER The brush from the L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara is a small ball with soft, tiny bristles all around it. This allows you to apply mascara to every single teeny, tiny, almost invisible lash you can find and it even coats the lashes that you didn't even know you had, thus creating long, defined "fan like" lashes!! L'Oreal describes their brush as a "Flexi-Globe" that lets you apply mascara from every angle possible. This mascara is great for all eye shapes and sizes because it "grabs" and separates each eyelash and then evenly applies a smooth coat of mascara root to tip. The result, highly defined, longer looking, fan-fabulous lashes! I also love that L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara contains Pro-Vitamin B5, jojoba oil and palm oil for conditioning so my lashes get a little extra "lash lovin" while looking great! BRIT'S NIT PICKS I had no "nit picks" with this mascara. This mascara goes on very smooth and even. I had no clumps, flakes or smudges and because of the shape and size of the brush I had no "over spray" on my eyelids or below my lower lash line (I hate when that happens!). L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara will be available in stores this November for $9.49 (a total bargain!) Also, just as an aside, I will be placing this mascara in my Beauty Mark on my blog. This is my area where I put my choices for the best of the best beauty products.

    Cute Crazy Brush

I don't use mascara very often because a lot of them tend to irritate my eyes, but this mascara I had very little problems with. I like the brush because it left no glopping and lumps on my lashes(I usually wipe extra mascara off the wand with a tissue before I apply)This brush made it easier to gently reach the outer lashes or do a spot check. I can't believe it but this left no raccoony lower li...read moreds after hours of wear and I actually fell asleep in with it on and woke up with very minimal raccoon lids. But that looked like I put on eyeliner. LoL. I only used one coat and my lashes seemed longer and separated, but not really thicker. Which is fine with me. It didn't leave my lashes crispy or sticky and I didn't lose any lashes when I rinsed this off with mild soap. One complaint though : The price is in the high 9's which is terrible.

    Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes For Less

Only a few short weeks ago, I reviewed Givenchy's Phenomen'Eyes Mascara, the sold-out popular lash darkener with a funky applicator. This fan favorite is designer priced, putting it out of range of many pocketbooks. L'Oreal has seized the opportunity to offer a mass market friendly version with their Telescopic Explosion Mascara. I got a press sample to try out since it isn't available in stores y...read moreet (although it appears to be available in the UK). When you see it come out Stateside in November - grab it! This stuff is awesome! I wasn't totally bowled over with Givenchy's mascara. Once I got a handle on how to use the round spiky applicator, the results looked great. But otherwise it just seemed like any other mascara out there. You'd think the L'Oreal version would be pretty much the same, but it has some major differences. Unlike Givenchy's short, stiff wand, L'Oreal's is long and flexible. The applicator isn't nearly as pointy and I think the combo makes the application much easier and a little less scary. Hold the wand vertically and push the wand up through your lashes root to tip. You can also hold it like a regular mascara wand, but vertically helps you get those tricky inner and outer corner lashes. My lashes come out looking well coated, nicely separated (avoid a sweeping side-to-side application motion unless you want clumps) and looking long. It doesn't volumize very well, but getting the inner and outer corners coated helps my lashes look fuller for sure. The formula is made with paraffin, jojoba oil, palm oil and Pro-Vitamin B5 which all definitely make for softer lashes than Givenchy's formula. I also thought it washed off more easily and cleanly, which is great since I hate using makeup remover and try to avoid it whenever possible (and am maybe a tad lazy). Whereas Givenchy offers some funky colors like blue and khaki, L'Oreal will only be offering Black and Blackest Black. As a fair toned person, I often go for brown, navy or soft black to avoid looking like a goth teenager, but the regular black looked nice and not at all harsh on me.

    Not worth the hype!

I see NO benefit to this strangely shaped brush. Because the brush is so small, it only gets one or two lashes at a time, making the application time unnecessarily long. It didnt clump, but it didnt thicken or lengthen much...I don't think the round shape helps all that much for getting the tiny corner lashes.. overall, it was very annoying to use! The only reason I continued to use this was beca...read moreuse of the obligation to post a review - I didnt think forming an opinion after just one use would be fair. Not worth the hype!

    Great formula, difficult wand

While I liked the feel of the mascara on my eyelashes -- it didn't feel heavy, it stayed on, even when I rubbed my eyes during the day, and it made my lashes look dark and glossy, I didn't like the wand. I think the shape is really cute -- almost like a spiky q-tip, but unless you're some sort of make-up pro, it's difficult to maneuver. Sadly, when I tried to apply in the morning, my eyelashes tu...read morerned out clumpy because I couldn't figure it out. I feel like it should have come with an instruction manual.

    I LOVE THIS Mascara

Talk about 360 degrees. L'Oreal Paris' new Telescopic Explosion Mascara is awesome! I have to tell you that this is my favorite mascara yet. I have used a number of brands and even L'Oreal's own Extra Volume Collagen Mascara and their HIP Volumizing Mascara. Here are three reasons why I like this mascara the best: 1- I love the little round brush that makes applying the mascara to my lashes effor...read moretlessly. It is so easy to separate each lash with this conveniently mini-bulb shaped brush. I don't like too much mascara on, making my eyes too gaudy looking so this works great for me. 2- No clumping and no smudging throughout the day. When I get home, it looks like I just applied my mascara. 3- The container is THE cutest. The red tube is so sleek and is a wonderful addition to my purse's contents! Finally, the Telescopic Explosion mascara by L'Oreal has brought the inner beauty in me out. By this, I mean I was not making time for applying makeup in the morning but I love this mascara so much, I look forward to wearing makeup! (well at least most mornings...)

    Love this mascara

The round applicator took some getting used to on this new mascara, but after I got the hang of it I absolutely loved it. The shape allows you to get to lashes you could never touch with a conventional want and the rich formula gives long, thick coverage on my short and sparse lashes. Word of caution, make sure you clean the round applicator on the rim just like you would a traditional mascara so you don't get spider eyes!

    cool brush

I really like the brush shape, you just have to make sure that you wipe it off pretty clean pulling it out of the tube or its clumpy going on. Seemed to wear wellwith no smudging thru out the day and easy to remove with eye make up remover. No flaking either, all in all a good mascara for the price.
