Great Mascara/Scary Applicator
Ok, when I first opened this up I was a little scared. This is a very bizarre applicator and there is a slight learning curve. If you like L'Oreal mascaras, try this one. Just be careful when applying and try not to poke your eye out. I'm not crazy about using the applicator on the main part of my eyelashes; it seems to take too long. But it works great on getting all of the smaller lashes in the corners of my eyes. Wonderfully progressive...
When I first lifted out the wand, and saw the ball tip, instead of an actual "wand" style tip, I was skeptical. However, after using the product a few times, i got the hang of it. The round ball tip allows you to reach inner corners of your eyelashes, and the end corners of your eyelashes more easily. Once you use the mascara a few times it is very easy to handle. Once I used it for a ...read moreweek, i was really having an "explosion" of lashes. It totally covers each individual lash and keeps them curled. The formulation is very creamy and easy to apply. I found it lasts all day, with no recurling of my lashes, which is a big time saver for me. Brush is hard to work with
I was excited because this mascara is the cheaper version of the Givenchy one. However, I was disappointed because the brush is hard to work with and i really had to layer the mascara on to see any length. Cool brush, but time consuming application
I've been using this mascara for couple of weeks now. I like the idea if the small brush because it helps me to get to the corners of my eyes, separates lashes, but i like to put mascara with just a couple of strokes. This mascara requires more time. Love the applicator!
I definitely love the wand -- the spiky globe is perfect because i was able to get to the inside and outer lashes just fine (which I know other testers had problems doing). The formula itself is just ok though -- i still got major clumping on the first application and it dried onto my lashes in a super hard coat. So the second and third coats were harder to do because my lashes were stuck together from that first one. I love this mascara! Its non-irritating, with a great brush, that gets each lash. :-) the consistency is great, stays on all day and won't rubb off! I have only wearing it for a week and have been getting compliments. Almost there
This product did not feel like quality mascara. It was extremely watery and messy when applying. Constant clumping. And when the product does dry it is flaking off in a matter of a few short hours. The packaging is great. The bright red color makes it easy to find in my make-up case. No Lash Left Out!
The brush definitely takes a little getting used to if you're used to using a typical long mascara brush. But with that being said, this little round brush gets every single lash! You do have to swipe the brush on the top of the bottle before applying, otherwise you will end up with clumps. I find that I have to do that with most mascaras though. My husband said that this mascara really opened up...read more my eyes and I agree. My lashes looked stunning! Not only that, but it stayed on all day long and into the evening-- and that was even with an hour nap in the afternoon! It did not flake at all and another day I tried it with my contacts and it didn't irritate either. Luckily, my lashes are pretty long naturally so I tend to stick with products that I know work well for me, but I will use this one again for sure. DIsappointing!
I use several L'Oreal products that I wouldn't part with and like their cost and quality. When I saw this mascara I was very excited to try it. I was intrigued by the little brush (it looks like a little round ball) attached to the end of the wand. The first couple of times I used this mascara, my eyelashes was clumpy and I had flakes under my eyes. I thought maybe I just wasn't applying it co...read morerrectly so I used it exclusively for a whole week. If I made sure the product wasn't gelled to the wand (especially at the end of wand), it worked somewhat better as far as the clumping of eyelashes, but I still had the flaking.
