Going Where No Other Brush Has Gone Before
L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara claims to lengthen for dramatically longer lashes, but the real revolution the product boasts is in the brush that you can apply mascara at any direction and reach even the smallest of lashes. You have to wipe off the brush befo...read morere usage to make sure you don't get too much on your lashes. It's not an apply before you go out the door type of mascara. Though the product holds up in the endurance department since it stays put once applied, and does not cause eye irritation. Honestly i'd forget i even applied mascara some days since this mascara doesn't have that stiff sort of feel to it. This mascara isn't bad i don't think it gives quite the drastic amount of length the company boasts but is a decent everyday usage mascara once you get used to the difference in application. I'm neutral with the spiked ball wand.
I'm neutral with this mascara. I neither hate or love it! Pro's: ability to precisely define lashes, lashes are separated beautifully, and lashes are lengthened. Con's: can get clumpy if you go over lashes too many times. Time consuming and quite frankly kind of annoying. I know that sounds silly! L'Oreal Paris Telescopic Explosion Mascara - pretty nice!
When I first saw this mascara I was a little intimidated by the wand because it looked so spiky! After feeling it though, and seeing how flexible and soft it actually was, I felt better. The small little round wand makes it super easy to reach even the tiniest lashes and get right to the base of your lashes. The application was really great. The formula is smooth and silky and I had no clumping i...read moressues after one coat. My lashes are normally fairly pale and sparse, and this definitely made them black, thicker and longer. I tried it with a second coat as well and I did have a few clumps, but I brushed them out with a lash comb and it was no problem. I even tested this mascara after wearing it for more than 11 hours at work at a physical therapy appointment I had. I was wrapped in hot wet towels around my back and neck for 15 minutes, then had to lay on my stomach with my face smushed into a tiny hole for about 20-25 minutes. Even after all that, this mascara didn't smudge or budge at all. This totally surprised me because after doing the same thing wearing Dior DiorShow mascara, it was definitely smudged. Overall I think L'Oreal mascaras in general are really nice and this is no exception. Good, yet awkward

ok but not great
There's really nothing spectacular about this mascara. The small round brush was a neat idea and it did make getting every lash easy, especially the ones in the corners, but it was kind of time consuming. The mascara itself was very clumpy-I don't know it that's because of the brush or just the formula- and flaked off when I tried to comb through my lashes to get rid of the clumps. Would be an excellent product but...
I think L'Oreal has great idea with the little wand. It really does get every lash. Unfortunately, it leaves gobs and gobs of mascara on my lashes making them look scary. I had to wipe off my eye lashes and wipe off the wand which is a hassle when you are in a hurry. I think if the put a filter that would catch most of the mascara, this would be an excellent product. A cheaper alternative to Givenchy
At first try, the mascara clumped on my lashes as it was very wet and gooey. But after swiping excess mascara off on tissue, it went on smoothly. This mascara also helps reach hard to reach lashes especially the ones near your inner eye socket. Really builds up your lashes
I’m very surprised at the negative reviews. I think this mascara is fabulous! The small wand makes it very easy to get at the every single lash. I especially like building up the tiny lashes at the corners of my eyes. I love the cat-eye effect! It does take a little more time to apply, so if you are looking for a mascara that you can put on in one swipe, then this isn’t for you. But...read more if you are willing to put in some effort, you will be rewarded with long, voluminous lashes. The mascara does not clump, flake or smudge (at least it doesn’t on me). Love the Sphere
I love the mascara's formula! It last long, coats lashes evenly, and dosn't weigh down your lashes at all. As for the applicator, it takes some practice to learn to use the sphere. It takes a little longer to apply your mascara than normaly, but does a great job once you get the hang of it! The more you practice the better results you will get, but the practice is worth it! I am a mascara whore... I've tried it all from the department stores, to the 99cent store, and this mascara falls about the middle of my scale...
