    AMAZING!

Just a background: I have oily, acne-scarred skin. I've been taking better care of it, drinking plenty of water, so I rarely have breakouts, but the discoloration is still definitely visible. I was searching for the best foundation that would look natural on me and cover everything up, but it has been so hard to find something that 1) will stay on my face, 2) look natural but cover everything, 3) ...read morewon't break me out. This is definitely THE foundation for me!!! I absolutely love almost everything about the Cover FX brand, since its problem-skin suited. At first I bought it alone, despite the Sephora rep pushing the primer and the setting powder on me. Mistake. It is very very creamy and almost impossible to blend on its own. I rushed back to Sephora and bought the primer - voila. PERFECT. So easy to blend, and covers every single spot! It's almost like I have naturally perfect skin. Ladies, try this! You will not regret it! PROS: Covers everything, a zillion shades so one will definitely match you, looks very natural, stays ON your face, will not break you out! CONS: Sort of expensive although I will pay good money for perfect-looking skin, and I cannot stress this enough but it NEEDS to be used with the primer serum or else it's impossible to put on and blend. TIP: For the setting powder, I used Bare Escentuals mineral veil since it works just as well as the Cover FX setting powder, and it's much cheaper too!

    Not Blendable!

I bought this foundation for the coverage, but it was very difficult to blend it on my face. The color was very pale. It did cover my redness, but made pores stand out! It was also sticky and heavy.

Best of their (very good) products

I have used the lighter Cover FX liquid foundation for several months and like it, but I decided to give this "heavier" formula a try for my wedding day. (I have fairly rosacea that shows particularly well in flash photography -- needed all the help I could get!) As it turns out, I like this even better than the other formula. It covers better and, at the same time, oddly looks more n...read moreatural on my skin. Lasted through the whole wedding day and looked fantastic in the photographs. Since then, it has become my go-to for most everyday wear as well. I like it best with a foundation primer underneath (doesn't have to be the Cover FX brand) and applied with a makeup brush (but the supplied sponge is fine too). And a set of powder on top does help the staying power. Again, the Cover FX powder works well, but any finely milled powder seems to work just as well and look just as good. My only caveat is to be sure the color matches your skin tone well. This is one time where it might be worth going into the store (e.g., Sephora) and having someone test your options on your skin. With something that gives this much coverage, you don't want your face to look white/orange/whatever when compared with your neck!

    "Sheer" Perfection---that Covers!

Finally!! a foundation that a) perfectly matches my hard-to-match skintone (which has both red AND yellow undertones), b) conceals my recently-acquired red splotches and medication-related acne without looking "spackled", c) doesn't make me feel like I'm wearing a mask, d) makes my skin actually feel BETTER at the end of the day rather than worse and e) all the while makes me look like I...read more just have the perfect complexion I used to have in my 20's (and, stupidly, took completely for granted!). Great coverage that's also light!

This is a unique product in that it covers completely but doesn't feel or look like spackle on your skin. If you suffer from uneven skin tone or rosacea, this will give you excellent results without heaviness. FYI:I purchased M10-Nude which ended up being a little lighter than expected from Sephora color swatch.

    Great after eye surgery

After having a lower lid blepharoplasty I had lingering discoloration even after the swelling went down. I tried Laura Mercier, Jane Iredale, and Bobbi Brown camouflage creams, but none came close to Cover FX for sheer but complete coverage. You can set it with the setting powder and then layer more cover cream over that without it's ever looking gunky. I highly recommend it.
