The appeal of this glamorously bottled polish lies in its brand name and coveted, unique colors, but not in much else. Treat freshly manicured nails with care at all times or polish will chip within a week. The decorative bottle cap can separate from the twist top beneath it on occasion -- a bummer. Nails don't feel stronger or more moisturized than they do with cheaper polishes like OPI. Although I've never tipped over the rectangular bottle, I wouldn't call it "non-spill."

I can live without this one
Chanel had one color that I fell in love. First of all, although the color spreads quite well, one coat is not enough. Then, it takes a bit longer to dry than some inexpensive drugstore brands. I like the smooth texture and the shiny finish, but the overall performance is not worth of the price (I paid $20....what was I thinking!).This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 13 people said helpful

Great polish
Every time you use chanel nail polish, it is like having a manicure at a professionals. I only needed one coat after applying a base coat, then finishing with a shine top coat. It is always shiney regardless of using a top coat. The $28 price tag is a little steep though, you are paying for a name. But you also are paying for great quality polish. It can last up to two weeks! You won't have to use...read more it as much, so in the end, saving money? :) The colors are great, and they have special limited edition shades sometimes.
