I can live without this one
Chanel had one color that I fell in love. First of all, although the color spreads quite well, one coat is not enough. Then, it takes a bit longer to dry than some inexpensive drugstore brands. I like the smooth texture and the shiny finish, but the overall performance is not worth of the price (I paid $20....what was I thinking!).This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 13 people said helpful

Great polish
Every time you use chanel nail polish, it is like having a manicure at a professionals. I only needed one coat after applying a base coat, then finishing with a shine top coat. It is always shiney regardless of using a top coat. The $28 price tag is a little steep though, you are paying for a name. But you also are paying for great quality polish. It can last up to two weeks! You won't have to use...read more it as much, so in the end, saving money? :) The colors are great, and they have special limited edition shades sometimes. Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour
I love the beautiful colors, I love the bottle and the applicator is not so bad either, but if you really want this nail enamel to last, you have to use a really good base coat and a really good top coat and reapply the top coat almost daily to prevent tip wear and chipping. This isn't a very forgiving polish. Great colors but worth the price????
Great colors and easy application. Don't like the price or the fact that the cap comes off and your left using the small inner cap. OPI has the same type of beautiful colors so I save my money and buy them instead. Black Satin
I have only ever tried this in "black satin". I am very impressed. With just one coat the color was opaque, not streaky, not thick, dried fast, shiny, I didn't even need a second coat! Having this been my first time trying this, like I said, very impressive. Overhyped
I was awestruck when I opened a friend's Christmas present to see three of these nail polishes. The colors were remarkable in the bottle but after applying each one I have to say, Chanel has really disappointed with these. My nails were unbelievably chipped after one day of wear and I even used my favorite Seche top coat and base coat.
