A good choice for oily skin

I've always had oily skin and could never find a decent foundation. Liquid ones looked good at first but seemed to 'melt' after a couple of hours when my face started getting shiny. This product seems to hold up longer, probably because of its dry quality. The only problem is it can look cakey if applied too thickly, so use a light hand.

    Not great

I bought this because I had a coupon, but the results weren't great. It's okay, but I don't really recommend it. I've also tried mineral makeup from Max Factor & Arbonne that is much better.

    Smooth even Coverage

my skin is both dry and oily and this is the only makeup I've found that covers evenly and leaves my skin feeling smooth and not made up. Love the light weight feel. I also use the bare blush and finish it off with a translucent powered over the top and it lasts all day no problem. Love it.

    Love this!

I have been using Bare Natural foundation since it first came out and I love it. It covers better than anything I have ever tried.

    Still just powder

Although I thought it provided great coverage, it still had the wear time of a regular loose powder. Which is not very long.

Not worth the time or the money

I bought both the foundation and the blush, hoping that they would cover my face without appearing cakey. Not true. Not only did my face appear cakey due to the amount I had to apply to even cover any imperfections, the powder clogged my pores and caused my skin to break out. I made the switch to Bare Minerals and am MUCH happier with the results.

    odd, spotty coverage...poor design

i have used both bare minerals and sheer cover, and was excited to see drugstore brands follow the mineral lead. this was very disappointing! first of all the applicator brush was kind of stiff (especially compared to bare minerals' kabuki brush)! the application with the brush was really messy, too! powder was everywhere. i ended up using my are minerals brush and lid to apply the powder. i...read moret did not cover evenly, and it rested on the surface of my skin looking powdery. it also did not wear well, as it wore off and looked spotty. i ended up giving it to a friend to see if she liked it better. all in all, you might save some $, but it's not worth it! save your $ for a better mineral product!

Just as good as Bare Minerals!

I was pleasantly surprised at the coverage this make-up provided, just as good as Bare Minerals, no need to pay more. I did notice a bit of dryness around the nose and under eyes, but this product did a better job than BM for reducing the look of large pores. Remember to tap off excess before application and this helps with cakiness!

    HATED IT!

The brush is awkard and nasty. I purchased this as an alternative to bare minerals. Bare mineral brushes are wonderful and are 75% of the secret as to why users LOVE the product... but Loreal (who I love) missed the bandwagon on minerals - not only with the brush, but the product (it was gritty).

    Cakey and Flakey...

This powder was ok during the summer months although seemed to build up in oily areas. Throughout the winter it did not work, I Felt like it dried my skin out.
