Great mascara, but use a booster beforehand
I can't say that this is the best mascara I have ever used by itself, but I will definitely purchase it again after having used it with a pre-mascara lash booster. It almost looks like I have false eyelashes on. It does have the tendency to thicken a bit with potential clumping, but that is the price to pay if you want to thicken your lashes as much as this does.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Lives up to its name
I bought this mascara cause it was on sale. I was really impressed by it! The wand is a big fat teddy bear wand, so if you dont like wands like that, beware. The product consistency was ok, not too watery and not too thick. It kind of has a distinct smell too it, that i'm not too fond of, but can overlook. Overall, this mascara did lengthen my lashes pretty well, it seperates them fairly well...read more also. Clumping is very minimal and i think it does give added volume like it says it does. My only complaint is that it flakes on me throughout the day, which I HATE any mascara that does that! Was sorely disappointed in this one
I'll give them props for incorporating collagen into the formula for "plumping" action, but after only using this one time, I threw it away. It clumped my lases so badly that I might as well have used black glue! Gotta Love It
When I buy mascara, I buy two or three brands at a time. I like to m'ix and match them to see which work best together to give me perfect lashes. When I bought 'Maybelline New York Colossal Volum' Express', I did my regular routine, and picked up two other brands, figuring that I'd need them to lengthen my lashes. When I used the 'Colossal Volum'' mascara, I was pleasant;y surprised. It lengthened...read more AND plumped, two qualities I had never before found in realitively cheap mascara. clumps and wears off

Didnot like it at all, returned to store.
This mascara was too clumpy, I didnot get very much volume from using it. The brush was too big and clumpy. There was a lot on the brush, it just didnot end up on my lashes . I finally gave up. Great stuff!
I'm always on the search for the perfect mascara - one that lengthens and thickens. This is pretty close to perfect. It has a scent, not unpleasant, but it's something I'm not used to in Mascara.
