Plump up the volume! Great product, don't listen to the haters!
Great product, don't listen to the haters! I was shocked to see all the mixed reviews for this product, I'm convinced that this is the absolute best drugstore mascara out there! A water proof version was released earlier this year and it's even more amazing. Love the volume and length it gives, my top 2 drugstore mascaras would be this one and Cover girl Lash Blast but Maybelline Colossal wins the...read more race because of it's intense volume, and easy to use jumbo classic brush. Falsies in a tube
I've gone through many tubes of mascara in search of "The One" that'll give me falsies in a tube. After reading through lots of mixed reviews about this mascara, I decided to give it a try when it went for $4.70 at my local Rite Aid. After curling my lashes and putting on one coat, I was REALLY impressed with what I saw. I got colossal length (pretty impressive with volumizing mascara), and almost...read more perfect separation and definition. To me, this is a natural daytime look that's kicked up a notch. Second and third coats add volume and drama that's perfect for evening or date look. One time, someone has asked me to close my eyes to see if I was wearing my own lashes or falsies. This mascara may flake if you use a lash comb, but the flaking is minor, is easily cleaned up and doesn't last all day. The brush will clump from time to time. This can easily be taken care of by cleaning the tube orifice with a q-tip and wiping the wand with a paper towel. Considering the overall performance of this mascara, these issues are just minor caveats. I've tried other mascara's after buying this one, (just to be sure that I've found The HG) and this one soutperforms them all. Bottom line, I found my HG mascara. Not overly impressed
The first time that I used this product I really liked it. It thickened my lashes beautifully with no clumping or flaking. I don't touch or rub my eyes, so I really had no trouble with flaking like some of the other reviewers. But I did have trouble with clumps after about a 2 weeks of using this product. So if you are fine with replacing your mascara often, then you won't be upset with this mascara. Pretty Good
I have long lashes and the Colossal legnthens and adds more definition to my lashes. It ocassionally clumps but other than that it works really well. It could've been perfect, :(
Honestly when i put this on, i loved it so much. But now, im back with my last blast, totally recommend for many reasons. This mascara is a lot like lash blast, exact same results. The only difference is that this smells so bad, and it also irritated my eyes. I couldn't wear anything on my eyes for about 2 weeks because of this. I gave this mascara to my friend, and nothing has happened to her so if your eyes arent senstive to this, i recommend.
