I LOVE THIS STUFF!
I have been using BareMinerals for many years and I must say their Mineral Veil is a great product. It sets your makeup perfectly for the day. If I'm going out for the evening I just retouch my eyeliner, use rice paper on my shiny spots and then a quick dusting of Mineral Veil. It looks like I have freshly applied makeup all over again. Feels good, but looks oily
I've been using it about a week now, and I think it makes me look too shiny. Maybe I'm still getting used to the application and blending. Parabens
Unfortunately the care and thought BareMinerals put into their other products was not put into Mineral Veil. All the "good for you" minerals are canceled out by this one part of the daily beauty routines. I like this stuff
Mineral veil surprised me because it is wearable by all skin complexions. I didn't it expect to fit me (a bronze-brown black woman) and my mom (as light as Alicia Keys with green eyes) but it did. It set my makeup, perfectly. I'm not a big makeup person, though, so I could live without it. Overall, BareMinerals makeup give my skin a certain luminosity (even though I have naturally oily skin) t...read morehat kind of seems to "glow." But sometimes it can be overbearing. I switched to Sheer Cover and have had better success with finding a color close to my skin tone and less shine.
