A beauty staple
After months of trying various mineral veil products, this is the only one that I still use-- and I have no plans to stop anytime soon! I have combination skin so am always looking for something to control oil without being cakey or heavy, and this does the trick. I dust this over my makeup to set it, and it lasts all day. No need for a touch up, no excess oil, no annoying shine... just smooth, polished, radiant skin all day long! Not Impressed.

Your better off spending your money on something else
This product is okay. I don't see how it gives you a "glowing" effect. It just felt like another layer of powder to add to the "caking" effect that, I felt, the foundation gives. If you are trying to "hide" any imperfections, don't use this product. What you are trying to hide is actually emphasized. tinted mineral veil
I received the tinted veil in a kit I got for christmas.. it is okay.. it does help with shine. I will put some on right before I leave out the door over my makeup if i am getting shiny.. but, and maybe this is because it is tinted, it seems to fade away my blush.. which i love blush colors.. so when i get my blush looking perfect and then i buff on some veil, it seems to mute out the color.. A true fan
I have used Bare Escentuals bare Minerals ever since I saw the info-mercial a few years ago. Back then, you could only order it on TV. They had a fantastic first time deal. I grabbed the phone and called. I fell in love with the products and have used them ever since. The Mineral Veil is the last finishing touch & makes a difference. Disappointment She Wrote - Mineral Veil not the Solution for Everyone
While I love the BE mineral foundations, when I originally tried the products, as for many others, it was through the "starter kit" - I followed all directions yet seemed as if my complexion felt better and makeup stayed on longer if I only used the foundation and went without the mineral veil. Coverage was better with the basic foundation powder; the mineral veil seemed to highlight lines around my eyes and dry out the skin around my mouth. Made fake wrinkles!
I am 30 years old, but I really don't have any wrinkles yet. But the mineral veil clumped together so that when I smiled or made any facial expressions, it LOOKED like I have fine lines under my eyes. My mom said she felt like it clumped into her wrinkles and made them more noticeable. My aunts love it, though. I have skin that tends to be rather oily, so maybe that's the problem.
