Worst Ever!
I picked up this deodorant because it was natural and aluminum free. It turns out this is by far, my worst deodorant ever! I have this in the apricot scent. It smells nice...light fruity scent, not over powering or overwhelming, but this product does not work! The first time I put this on, I was out all day and maybe 3-4 hours in, I started noticing a slight odor scent. I took a whiff of my undera...read morerms and I was in a panic attack. I thought it had to do with me perspiring more than I normally do that day because it was super hot day and causing me to have a slight BO. I kept my arms down for the rest of the day, self conscious that others around me may smell me. So from that point on, I would put on my deodorant in the mornings, and take it with me in my handbag. I find myself sniffing my underarms and checking for BO. I do find that I have to reapply this product like every 3 hours or so. This is terrible. I'm someone who don't have BO, never have BO, and this deodorant for whatever reason, caused me to have slight BO! I think it is from the lack of protection in the perspiration department. Who knows. Or maybe the formula is just not for me....my body chemistry + the formula of the product = sweaty underarms and BO. I think this product is great for someone who does not need a lot of protection and can do without deodorant....this would be the perfect product for that person! It'll give light protection for someone who don't really need it. For us gals who need a little more or moderate protection, this product is not for you! Save yourself the embarrassment, self consciousness, and trouble of carrying an extra deodorant in your handbag for reapplication -- this isn't your lipstick after lunch. Deodorant; Not Antipersprant :)
OK, so I get this isn't supposed to be an antipersperant, but should it make you sweat more? I felt like I put oil or something under my arms because I was much more sweaty than I am if I forget deoderant all together. I used once and it's sitting in my bathroom. If i could give this a ZERO....
I was trying to go with the all natural deodorant thing and my first thought was, "oh toms is probably good, i know lots of people who use it."--Note those people really don't smell that awesome. WELL, im one of those people who did and it worked just OK for about a week then BAM my body just changes and i start smelling like an onion patch, literally, never smelled this bad in my whole life. I u...read morenderstand its probably an issue with toxins, but seriously, TOMS IS TO BLAME. its been a year and i still haven't gotten my armpits back to their normal state. I used to be able to go a few days with out reapplying my aluminum filled anti stink stick! NOW! NOWWW i can go maybe ONE. Great for no Aluminum,
Love Tom's of Maine, natural deodorant. What I don't like about it is that the stick itself, (even when making sure I am totally clean and dry before applying), tends to develop a smell of its own that is not very nice. Try the 24 hour one!

Effective deodorant only!

Fresh
I dance in classes some days for 7 hours or work in a sweaty coffee shop, I use to wear Axe because nothing worked for me, and Axe just covers up funk with strong smelling fragrances, I was amazed when I tried this deodorant cause it actually kept me fresh and was long lasting, the price is as much as regular deodorant but better for you and feels smoother when it goes on, like really rich lotion....read more The smell is very light and not overpowering like alot of deodorants. tom's deodorant
i used this deodarant while i was spending the summer in miami. it was hot every single day so i needed a deodorant that worked well. this one was good. i loved that it had pleasant scents and i also liked it was aluminuim free. but after spending a couple hours out in the baking heat and in the pool it would wear off. i would have to reapply every so often. i think reapplying is better than getting cancer so i would definitly use this product.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

This works great as long as I don't work too hard physically...
I switched to the unscented version of this deodorant since I was trying to get pregnant as it is the only recommended safe deodorant out there. It works great unless it's really hot then I will sweat and smell a bit. But if I reapply it's as good as new. Not great as antipersperant but a good deoderant.
This product is ok at keeping you deodorized as long as you are not too physically active and sweating it all off. It could need a second application during a day if it is too hot outside or if your lifestyle is demanding enough to make you really sweat.
