Awkward hold, not so bold.
This mascara's applicator brush is too long and makes it awkward to move around the eye and get all your lashes without also painting your eyelids black. Coverage is fine ones it's on, fairly slow to dry in comparison to some mascaras. Wash off isn't horrible but can require some scrubbing if you don't have a makeup remover formula (even with the nun-waterproof version). Volume Yes
It did the job of giving me volume but I am not a big fan of the 2 step process of any mascaras. Found it to clump though. So it does give a big volume but has the tendency to clump up as well. A dependable Mascara

Dissapointing

love it!

Works well for short lashes

XXL Maybelline Mascara
The mascara doesn't completely live up to its name (XXL) but it was still a great product. I would buy it again, but only if a few others were not available. I felt as though the extra step (the white primer) was just that, an extra step. I actually tried using just the mascara once and couldn't tell much of a difference from when I would use the primer. TERRIBLE!

Unsatisfactory
