not that great
This mascara works great one the young girl but I am older and it does not work well on my thin and light colored lashes. I've tried it more than once and have been dissappointed. If you have lots of natural lashes then it seems to work fine. My lashes are thin and grey so I need something else to make then fuller. Okay
This mascara is affordable. I always come back to using it and sometimes it is a fine makeup, but yes, it does clump. If you can deal with the clumping, then go for it its great. Overrated IMO
I am not sure how this manages to be the #1 mascara. Each time I buy it, straight brush, curved brush or whatever, I am never impressed. It gives my lashes no volume or thickness at all.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

this thing is actually not that bad
i red a lot of bad reviews about this mascara, but I still want to try it. It's not that bad actually. It's not the best ever but also not as bad as some other people said. It makes my lashes looks longer with just one application. I have the curved brush. I can apply this really fast and still have a pretty good result. Never understood it
All my life, it seems every beauty magazine I've ever read (and that's a lot!) dote on Great Lash, and I have no idea why. Great for the price
I only wear waterproof mascara, and I've tried others, but I keep coming back to this one. It goes on pretty easily, and holds up throughout the day (you do have to have a good remover to get it all off). I have found, however, that a tube doesn't last very long once it's opened. After just a couple of weeks, it starts to dry out and get clumpy. This mascara is horrible, and definately ot the greatest mascara. Seriously, if you love this mascara then you've probably never tried any other mascaras, cause if you had you would immediately see that this mascara is crap, no other word for it. The first problem with this mascara is the actual wand. It's too short, and the space between the bristles causes major clumping, especially if you don't...read more curl your lashes and are using a new tube. Next, the formula is very drying. When I used this (I tested it our for a week), I would always see at least five or six lashes fall out when I was removing my makeup, even if I was being very gentle, so if you have sparse lashes, don't use this mascara!!! This is even worse with the waterproof mascara. Finally, the appearance of the tube is atrocious, like something from the 80's. It looks very unsophisticated and toyish, if you get what I mean. Overall, this mascara is probably the worst mascara that I've ever tried, and that says a lot cause I've tried tons and tons of mascaras. After years of hype, especially from make-up pros, I figured 'everyone' had to be right and I'd give this a try. I couldn't have been more disappointed! This stuff is as bad as the Cover Girl Lash Exact (I tried the purple one) that Queen Latifah pimps out! Did not deliver volume, definition, nor length. It merely coated my lashes with goop! My eyes were swollen, red and itchy for days! The entire area around my eyes got so dried out from all the itching and blotting with tissues! Absolutely awful! Took a week before my eyes were better enough just to wear any kind of make-up again! My skin was still dry, I essentially had to wait for new skin to grow!! Wonder what this does to those women that have bad allergies?! I typically respected the Maybelline brand, but this mascara honestly made me lose some respect for Maybelline!
