No Good
This is a really strange product. Some people love it - along with most of the beauty magazines - and others hate it. I'm in the latter camp. It does absolutely nothing for my lashes but make them droop even after using an eyelash curler. I've never had that happen with any other mascara. very dissappointing
i hate this mascara. it does everything a mascara is NOT suppose to do, it flakes, it smudges, and it clumps. it does make my eyelashes look pretty long, but still VERY unnatural. plus, i hate looking like a raccoon by the end of the day. basically, this mascara sucksThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Ouch!! Is it really safe for eyes?
This was the first mascara I ever used. For reasons I can't remember, I switched brands and hadn't used it in years. I decided to try a different kind of mascara a few weeks ago, saw this on the shelf and decided I should go back to it. I always remember it as a supposedly great and simple mascara. My Mom saw this and warned me that she had switched because it stung her eyes. I decided to go ahead...read more and use it anyway...got some in my eye in the shower... and went into a complete PANIC! It REALLY burns! This alone will stop me from using this mascara again. It hurt so much, can it really be safe for your eyes? my secret base
i used this mascara for years! thought it didn't seem to volumize or lengthen much, i would use it for days when i didn't want to look dramatic. i would also use it as a base coat to sort of separate my lashes, then use another mascara on top to volumize and lenghthen without clumps. that was my secret to insane lashes! thought i now prefer to use just one mascara, for someone on a tight budget, this mascara paired with a volumizing covergirl one on top can do wonders!This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

An old favorite
I like it because I have tried many of the new "volumizing mascaras by other companies and I keep coming back to my Maybelline. I find a product I like and do not to change. It is a good mascara. It works. It does the job....I think consumers expect too much. Love the price, & this mascara is "#1." So I go out to buy a bottle. Hmm... under $5... cool! Go home. Open the bottle. Well, all the great thoughts about this product have gone down the toilet. Just look at the brush! How can you look at that brush and think that it's going to separate and volumize your lashes? My favorite for years
I have loved this mascara for years! A few times I have tried other brands such as MAC but I have never found something that matched up to this one. I have naturally long lashes that stick straight out, but with one quick coat of this mascara and a squeeze in a lash curler I have perfect lashes that last all day until I wash it off. dont understand whats so great about it!
I have bought this product a few times (usually after I saw make-up artist raving about it) and I still dont understand what is so great about this product.
