It does make my lashes look twice as long, but it seems to smudge and smear way to easily and I end up with completely black under-eyes by the end of the day. Does a decent job
I tried this for the first time last year. The key is proper application - light sweep and don't let it dry between coats. It holds curl well and adds good length. It's not a dramatic effect mascara, but as a "makeup minimalist" that's what I want. I can wear it all day without smudging and it's easy to remove. My last purchase was 2 tubes for $4 at WalMart. needs improvement
I know this is the #1 mascara--I bought one for the 1st time 2 months ago for $4.99 at Target. Its just too wet and smudges onto my upper eyelid when applying. It also always smudged onto my under eyelids within 2 hrs. It also took forever to completely clean off--I was always left with a dark shadow around my eyes after cleaning. Yes it does lengthen nicely and the color is rich but at the cost ...read moreof all the other set backs its not worth it, even for $4.99. The worst....
I hate, hate, hate this mascara. My girlfriends think I'm crazy, because it's such a cult classic... but it's horrible. It's easily the worst mascara I've ever used. Just Hype...
Great Lash mascara has been adorned with far too much praise. It has made a name for itself (a "classic" mascara...), but does not, at all, live up to this name. part of what determines an old stand by is the "stand-by" part... this does not really fit Great Lash. It seems to have a mind of it's own, and results vary everytime I put it on.
