I always come back to it
I have tried all mascaras, from doubtful oversea products, drugstore, department store, organic. Yet, somehow I always come back to the classic great lash. This is why: it is very affordable, but efficient. It doesn't smudge, but I only need my face cleanser to wash it off. It makes my lashes glisten and has an amazing hold. Love, love, love. Classic
It's the unmistakable packaging that made me buy this mascara..I remember my mother having this in her pouch growing up. It's a good, basic mascara for a good price that you can't beat. I feel you get what you pay for with mascara so don't expect tooooo much but it does darken and lengthen lashes. I dont know why everyone hates it....

Not worth the hype
I heard nothing but raves about this mascara so I decided to try it. It was nothing exceptional at all. I don't understand why they say that celebrity makeup artists use this. Younger Wear
I would have to say this is great for school wear. It goes on with out clumps, fast and easy (nice for rushed mornings), more of a casual look for mid day runs. I have a few mascaras I use for different events of the day but Mabelline New York Great Lash is my quicky go to. However, my mother (late 40's) wanted to go with the flow and bought one for herself, it didnt work to well for her needs.
