Not the same formula
This was the first mascara I ever used. I use to love it. I recently bought a new tube and was extremely disappointed. The brush is so sparse that it clumps my lashes. It offers nothing in the terms of lengthing or volumizing my lashes. It flakes and by noon I look like a racoon if there is any heat at all. A tried and true mascara
This mascara will not let you down. It is the same mascara that my mother used when I was growing up and it is a brand that has been around for years. Don't Believe the Hype
I tried this mascara because it was highly acclaimed in Allure Magazine. This mascara is easy to find at nearly any drugstore and is very affordable, but that is where the pros for this product begin and end. I find this mascara to be very clumpy. You always end up having to wipe of the excess mascara on your lashes so it doesn't look like you have a few bug carcasses (black clumps) attached to yo...read moreur lashes. This mascara never seems to reach every lash, nor does it seem to lenghten or do much of anything. When I wore this mascara it irrated my eyes as well. Tried and True...
This is the first mascara I ever used as a teenager and still use it to this day. Many times I have bought more expensive/high end mascaras and always end up coming right back to Great Lash after one or two tries with the others. Yes, it is great for a budget, but I have used better drug store mascaras.
Maybelline has been around forever with mascara. I go back to it every once in a while to see if it is as good as I remember. The great lash is good,but you will need to put on multiple coats to get a thick eyelash effect. It is a little thin at first and will tend to mark around your eyes more so than many of the other inexpensive brands.Takes longer to dry when first put on.
