It's true
It is a very good standard, though waterproof, mascara, but if you can get more out of a drugstore mascara then why stick with this? I personally used it in junior high for a bit but when i bought it again after high school it stung my eyes. Defines my lashes and rarely clumps!
I have the curved brush and I love how I can reach the base of my lashes without a problem. Great black color. Stays on nicely all day - even when I sweat a lot! Washes off wonderfully, too. I've used this since I was a teenager

Allergic!!!
As much as I loved the product, it made my eyes itch! I was so disappointed because I heard such great things about it and I also used it! But I couldn't figure out why every time I put it on, my eyes turned red and itched like crazy. Great value mascara
Since this is "America's No.1 mascara" in volume sales, it does live up to it's name, up to a point. It can sometimes smudge if it's a humid day. Remember not to let it dry between coats or else flaking can occur. The waterproof version is better if you want longer lasting wear throughout the day.
