I can't live without this
I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have this primer to use everyday with my eyeshadow. It works SO perfectly. Since the day I started using it 2 years ago, my eyeshadow hasn't even creased once even after around 12 hours! I personally think it's about the same as Too Faced Shadow Insurance (which seems to be its biggest competitor) but I'm still sticking with my Urban Decay. It goes on super smo...read moreoth and has a little bit of pigment to even out your skin tone. It dries extremely fast and makes shadows go on so much richer. I don't have to splurge on super high-end eyeshadows anymore, since this primer makes any cheap 2 dollar shadow look AMAZING. I have really oily lids and it has yet to fail me. I just can't get over how perfect this product is. I've been using it almost religiously every single day for the past few years. I've had the same bottle for almost that entire time! It lasts FOREVER even though the bottle is really small, because you need to use such a tiny amount. Great!
I got this in champagne color and it looks great by itself, although I had a bit of trouble blending it in. With eye shadow over it, the color looked shimmery and pigmented, as well as lasting all day. I do not like the application though, as I found the brush by itself applies too much product and doesn't blend well because of that. You know, I might have been sold on this eyeshadow primer if I hadn't already found the Avon Beyond Color cream eyeshadow that works unbelievably well for much, much cheaper. Eye shadow primer is worth that extra step to getting rich, professional-looking results, and for long-lasting color and no creasing or fading. The Urban Decay product is good, but not worth the price for such a paltry amount. Love it!
I love anything to do with beauty and wanted to revamp my collection after being inspired by magazines and advertisements for new products. That being said, over the past month I have made it a mission to find great makeup products that I have never used before. I found everything from eye shadow to lip balm, but this product is on the top of my favorite June finds! I have never been a big primer ...read moreuser, but this has me using it every time I want to use eye shadow (which is a lot) Urban Decay did a great job of making a makeup product that goes on smooth and lasts for a long time without creating any smudging. Not only does the primer feel great on my skin, but it also makes my eyes look flawless in photos! There are no more smudges within my eye shadow layers and the primer does not make my sometimes-sensitive skin irritated! This was very important to me in a beauty product seeing that other brands have made this happen before. There were no smudges to be seen on my face. It helped with any color I chose to wear and helped me feel ready for anything whether it be a lunch with the girlfriends, a date with the beau, or a night out on the town! Defiantly worth the money to buy because it is reliable and works for any given situation. I am positive that once it runs out I will purchase it again without thinking twice about another brand’s primer. I have told all my friends and sorority sisters about it and recommend it with an A+! Some have even gone out and bought the product already due to its great reviews. This is too great to pass up! Awful.
I have unfortunately received this twice in gift sets, and twice have wished for something, anything other than this. It dries out my eyelids, does nothing for the color, but it actually DOES keep the shadow on.....but in a manner where you cannot blend it. So you have just weird spots instead of blended shadows. Not Bad
I was prepared to be dissapointed by this-an eye primer seemed like the latest fad. But it really did provid a smoother base for my eye make-up and it lasted longer without streaking or sweating.
